Mystos stores the journal content and derived personal intelligence needed to give you continuity across dreams and synchronicities. It does not treat AI output as objective truth, prediction, diagnosis, destiny, or proof of causation.

What is sent to AI

When you use an AI feature, Mystos sends the relevant journal content, conversation context, or selected evidence needed for that request through OpenRouter. Text intelligence currently uses OpenAI GPT-5.6 Luna with store:false. Voice capture first uses on-device speech recognition when available, otherwise your browser's speech service, which may process audio according to the browser provider's own terms. Only the Mystos+ enhanced fallback sends a voice recording to OpenRouter for transcription. Mystos does not save raw voice recordings as audio files.

Provider retention

store:false means Mystos does not ask the Responses API to keep a reusable response object. AI providers may still retain limited request data for security, abuse prevention, or legal purposes under their applicable terms and policies.

Billing

Stripe handles payment methods, invoices, and subscription billing. Mystos stores only the identifiers and subscription state needed to grant access. Stripe may retain financial records independently where required for payment, fraud, tax, or legal obligations.

Your controls

Signed-in users can export their Mystos data, erase journal and intelligence data while keeping the account, or permanently delete the account. Entry deletion is also available directly in the journal.

Retention behavior

Journal entries and the intelligence derived from them are retained until you delete the entry, delete your Mystos data, or delete your account.

Voice capture first uses on-device speech recognition when available, otherwise the browser's speech service, which may process audio under the browser provider's own terms. Only the Mystos+ enhanced fallback sends a raw recording to OpenRouter for transcription. Mystos does not store raw voice recordings after the request completes.

Mystos sends the minimum relevant content needed for a requested AI feature through OpenRouter. Text intelligence currently uses OpenAI GPT-5.6 Luna. Responses requests use store:false. Provider security or abuse-monitoring retention can still apply under the provider's terms.

Weekly Mystos keeps at most the 12 most recent generated weekly summaries in your profile.

Relevance-feedback history is bounded to the 100 most recent changes per stored feedback record.

Deleting an entry hard-deletes it from the Mystos application database and database relationships remove its dependent conversation and evidence records.

Mystos is designed for personal reflection. AI-generated interpretations can be incomplete or incorrect and should not be treated as professional advice or as evidence that an event has a supernatural or causal meaning.
